video upload problems

just tried to add some videos to my site and a nice little pop up box tells me what sites i can add videos from incl of course Youtube....trouble is i can't! an error message comes up stating: Invalid Video provider! despiote the fact that i copied and pasted the URL exactly and it should accept Youtube so what is wrong?

i have posted this on the jomsocial forum as it is a JS issue but if anyone knows off hand the solution please post an answer here.
