Jomsocial layout problem after JS 1.8.9 update!

Hi,

I update my JS to the latest version 1.8.9 and the partyfreak template works ok but if I publish on the JS component frontend any module on the position: right1, right2, right top or right bottom.. the JS layout looks bad with a big space on the center on the template. (please see the capture)

I've fixed the problem from diffrent question, but mods in right column looks ok to me. Please show me some example with link to the exact page please.

Hi Teitbite, its a live site... but I can recreate again the problem for you. I disable the right options of JS frontpage (latest groups, online users, search) and I publish on the right2 template position any other joomla module like top members and now you can see the issue.

Hi

That is really stange. In the code it looks like 2 modules are set inside the single layer for a module position. Please fix validation errors http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... ne&group=0 . This may be connected so it's beter to have it clear before searching for a reason.

This solution not work for me.

I put the default joomla template for the Jomsocial and the frontpage looks ok with the right module position too... so I think the problem is between the Party Freak template or JS Layout with the latest JS.

If you have the Jomsocial 1.8.9, try with the Party Freak template and you can re-create the template issue when the modules are publish on the right2 position.

And please tell the programmer that has already been released version 1.8.10 of Jomsocial and the problem with the right2 for module position in jomsocial layout from the template of PartyFreak continues so please update the template PartyFreak as soon as possible.

P.D. I will unpublish the modules on the right2 position on the JS frontpage of my live site to hide the display issue while the Gavick team release the PartyFreak update to work with the latest JS version.

I have install PartyFreak from quickstart, then install JS 1.8.10, then all modules and apps for JS. I published some modules on positions right1, right2, right_top and right_bottom and all works fine.

Could you publish on the right2 any module? Then I will check this problem in your site.

Thanks Michalkie for your answer.. but you need to publish any joomla module on the right1, right2, right_top and right_bottom of the Jomsocial frontpage to see the issue, because all the module positions works fine in the template but cause some problems on the jomsocial frontpage layout.
