Hi Gavick Team, thanks for last Party Freak update, now Jomsocial 1.8 works!

I have only 1 problem ... I updated Jcomments and Jomsocial from "rest of files" zip, now all I have to do is update the files for K2 2.3 support.
Sorry but I don't understand which files are new! I downloaded gk_party_freak_J!15.tgz but inside I see all files and folders with yesterday date.

I can't upload all files and folders on my server because I changed some images (like the logo) and some css

is it possible to know exactly wich files are new?

Thanks for your support

Hi, you will need to upload all files via ftp to where your temaplate is located. I believe most of the files have been modified in some way even if it's just a few characters that has been changed.

thank you for the quick reply

sorry but I don't understand the reason why I have to upload via ftp images too.. like the logo for example. I made my logo.. why after every update I have to replace it with party freak logo?

it would be easier if in the zip it's possible to see the real modify date, so a gavick user can understand which files are new

I do see your point. If you have images that you do not want replacing with your current ones. Remove these images i.e. party freak logo from the folder before uploading via FTP, then the images you have stored on your server will not be replaced by the update.

As this is a Jomsocial, Jcomments and K2 update, just upload the HTML hacks and the template XML. But dont take my word for it as there may be other files that the developers have updated. Hence the upgrade option is to replace ALL of the old files with the new ones.

Yes, I know that it is a problem - I'll prepare tools which generates list of updated files for every update when we'll release July template :)
