Poll Radio Button Issues

The radio buttons in the poll module are not aligning properly. (see attached images)
I think this is a widespread issue, i searched the forum and got a lot of results but some had contradictory advice i tried a few of the suggested remedies but nothing seemed to work, it might be because a lot of the posts were old so maybe setup has changed since then. Anyways how can i remedy this problem?
