Video in JomSocial not playing back.

Hi,

We have implemented this template at GroupNation and we love the way it is coming together.
We are using Jomsocial and we have come across an issue with video.
The videos are created (linked) fine and create the thumbnails fine, but when a user comes to play it back, nothing happens. I can't even see any code trying to be invoked. It's like there's some disjoint between the component and the template but I don't know where to ask for help.

Specifically you can see what I mean by clicking here and trying to view the video.

I should also point out that I am using the very latest beta from Jomsocial so that might have broken something.

The guys over at Jomsocial solved this one. They suggested a code in the style.css file as follows and it resolved it for me.

In the class

#community-wrap .cLayout {
position:relative;
width:100%;
}

I had to comment out / remove position:relative;

Hope this helps someone if they have the same issue.

This is happening to me, when I select the option:
- SEO Settings
- Search Engine Friendly URLs (Yes)

When we click to open the video, the page reloads and nothing happens.

If it's connected with SEF than we can't be much help. Please see joomla forum instead.

My videos work fine with this template and SEO

I am having exactly the same problem for partyfreak template but unfortunatly for me the above instruction is not the solution:(..I havent checked anything about sef/ or Search Engine Friendly URLs so this is irrelevant. I have also asked the jomsocial support and they reply me with the "There's a problem with the template you're using. Please consult the template provider."

Important notice..The problem doesnot exist in explorer browser, only in firefox and chrome.

Another important problem again with jomsocial.
I can notlink to Privacy and Preference. I've noticed a similar problem in the same topic with the problem of videos

My jomsocial component is 1.8. again from jomsocial they adviced me ""There's a problem with the template you're using. Please consult the template provider."
