Images in content items not displaying correctly

No matter what editor I use, when placing any image in an article, the alignment chosen won't hold. It places the image in the right position but the text will not align to it as selected in the insert image parameters.

Attached is a screen shot to show what's happening.

Any assistance or tips on how to make this work properly are greatly appreciated.

This is running on my local host, not on a live server.

I'll try posting it on one of my development sites and see if that corrects the problem. If not, I'll let you know and send a link.

In the meantime, do you have any suggestions? Because I'm working on local host, that's why I sent the screen grab sample. This happens on all pages of content no matter if I tell the image to align right, left or default.
