Problem with changing style of modules heading h3

Hi guys,
i have some problem with css style for a module heading.
This is something what i would like to get:


And this is what i'm getting now,

I've add backround reapeting image to .header_right>.moduletable_content>h3
and then I've try to add h3 span with background color same as template background color, but i'm doing something wrong, it's just dosen't work. could You point how to do this? maybe some tip?
Any help w'll be appreciated.
