White Theme/Background

How can I have a white/clear theme/background?

Please remove the background line from class:

at template.css

Ok, thanks, but it didn't make the template white. Removing that line only remove the top background picture (the people).

Any thoughts about how to make that template white?

I think we have to ask for a complete "white style" of this great template.
The last few hours I spend trying this first class template, but i've also the problem, that for my needs I would need a white style version of this template because it's too dark.
Perhaps we will get an easter egg and gavick gives us a white version of this template.

hmmm.... i doubt it. it is CERTAINLY NOT going to happen.

Find in css files the classes that are using:
bg_bottom.png
bg_middle.jpg
bg_top.jpg

or just rename the files above to have a quick look, if that is what you need

ahhh all that people want from this template (tuning i mean to white) is that the component/mainbody area where the articles show is white in colour, like the modules bg at the bottom of the template. that way the template will look much better and the user will easily read the articles, without literally digging inside the computer screen.

i hope that the gavick team listens to us, people like me, who want to join the club.... seeing this template.... but only if there is some replacement for the above stated problem (would like to say problem here... sorry)

Unfortunately there will be no white version of this template, but it's not so hard to implement it by Yourself.

Please add this at the end of templates_css.css

Than You will need to just set some colors for white elements in the template ("Read more", breadcrump, etc..).

just one thing.... i have seen on last few templates that the templates are awesome but the fonts are well.... not so great. like in memovie and partyfreak, the article heading fonts are not even mixing with the rest of the fonts used elsewhere. is there any option to change the font of the headings????

@ stayonline you can use Firebug for firefox, for find and change fonts. and i think in setings of template you can change fonts also, but i em not shore cos i didn't test this template.

Take a note at the forum look made by a fan. Computer here at work is so slow that I can't search the forum, but might be interesting to take that layout with the template..

As excited as I am to see it released too, he did say he needs to get approval from Robert first.

On a separate note, I wonder if Gavick might release the light version of Party freak as their April theme so they can get back on track with their release times.

I wouldn't mind if they released the lite version for the April template to get back on track. I know they put a great effort into the black version and a great effort will be put into the lite version.

I have a project I need to use the lite version on and don't want to go through the trouble of converting over the colors if they will be doing it anyway.

Seichinha it looks good and thank you for a great work but i have one small sugestion.(this is only my opinion and you dont need to bother about it )
In dark version style colors (yellow, blue and red) are very bright and it looks really good on dark background (everything looks clear because of high contrast), but if you want to use same colors on bright background you should make them darker. You w'll have bigger contrast beetwen background and color elements like fonts etc.

Sorry for my English but i hope you w'll get my point.

Hi Seichinha. The light colored version of Party Freak looks great! I came to say pretty much the same thing as synthetic. With the background changed to light colors (white, grey), the red and blue colors look a little strange. How easy is it for us the change the shade of red used to better match the light background for example?

Just edit a style.css file. Find a hex color and edit it, it couldn't be much easier . Change the color of this template should take you a few minutes.
