getting a parse error

Hello, I've installed memovie on a website and the front end won't work, I keep getting -

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '{' in /vhost/vhost5/y/v/o/yvonnefontane.co.uk/www/templates/gk_memovie/libs/gk.template.helper.php on line 688

Any ideas? the admin section works fine, and other templates work fine but not this one.

Which PHP version do you have on your host?
Do you have the latest version of Memovie?

yes, I have the latest version of it. am on a php4 server but am in the process of moving it to a php5 server. One of the mods deleted something and now it's showing up at least, but it's showing all wrong.
Could this be down to the version of php?

I had installed it else where at it works fine, but on the actuall site where I copied it to, it not as it should be.
