memovie menu

Bonjour,

le mega menu du template memovie ne fonctionne pas avec firefox 3 6 9 et seven
( http://demo.gavick.com/joomla15/feb2010 ).
J'ai nettoyé le cache mais ça ne fonctionne pas.

Sur IE 8 ça fonctionne.

It's some problem from your side... maybe some configuration about javascript rendering on your browser.

the menu doesn't open in Opera 11.00 alpha
where the Javascript console gives the following:

(it's mentioned :

but the problem isn't fixed yet
is there any other file that i have to change?

Did you update all files?

I downloaded Memovie 2.0.8,
and updated everything, but it was a mess,

so i had to revert back to the old version i had (memovie 1.2.0 i mean,
with is old k2 and t3 framework)

and reconsider all updates one by one

i was just hoping that you tell me what files to consider first,
since it was a mess the first time

because when i updated them, my k2 looked a mess,

now here are the problems i have:
1) there's a problem with recognising the language file:
i see GK_LOGOUT, and YOUAH instead of You are Here....

2)my backend looks a mess:
the tabs aren't working well in the font tabs

3)the menu is still not working in chrome 7, neither Opera,neither Firefox 4

PS: Plugin: System - Mootools Upgrade 1.2.4 is enabled

1. Try to add GK_LOGOUT and YOUAH manualy to any language file or copy the language file form the template to language folder.

2. This problem is in templateDetails.xml file. Can You please send me this file ?

Naturally that you have all this problems.
You rename template directory to /gk_memovie_new/

some necessary path's on template files don't exist this way.

actually, Seichinha's note helped me fix the
1)language,
2)and backend issue

but the menu is still not working

Note1:
i have made some changes to mega.js, it's true, and all are working great in IE, firefox 3.6.6, and chrome 6....
but even if i use the newest unchanged mega.js, (and after cleaning cache)
it's still not working in the newer browsers


Note 2: I turned off plugin Mootools Upgrade 1.2.4 (it was causing errors in FF)

My Site is not accessible without the menu :$

Note, that using Firebug, i can see the childcontents there,
and by modifying their visibility, opacity and left, i can bring them to the front where they should be,
so they are loading,
but it seems there is an error recognizing the hover effect :$

Our programme told me that the menu problem has been fixed in some of the last upgrades, so please try it. If this won't work, I'll ask Him to look at this post.

actually, i am using the latest updates (2.0.8)
and the only differences in mega.js are the ones cited above
(but as i said, even the default mega.js in its newest release is not working for me)

Normally memovie works fine. Probably the problem is connected also with your custom works. Please try to change in mega.js file:

I have a big problem on the mega menu. I contacted the administrators but I still have no answer.

I applied the above changes but it did not solve anything. Help me please because my site will go into production in the coming days.

My problem:

my mega menu opens go down well and the thumbnails but when the mouse moves away, the thumbnails do not go back more.

I think it comes from mozilla 4, IE 9, CHROME;

I tested on IE 8 and mozilla 3.6 it works

j'ai un gros problème sur le méga menu. J'ai contacté les administrateurs mais je n'ai toujours aucune réponse.

J'ai appliqué les modifications ci-dessus mais ça n'a rien réglé. Aidez moi s'il vous plait car mon site doit entrer en production ces prochains jours.

Mon problème :

mon méga menu s'ouvre bien et les vignettes descendent mais dès que la souris s'éloigne, les vignettes ne remontent plus.

Je pense que ça vient de mozilla 4, IE 9, CHROME;

j'ai testé sur IE 8 et mozilla 3.6 ça marche
