is there a way to sort out my pictures

Hi, my site is http://www.in2town.co.uk and i am using the k2 module for my articles which is mod_news_pro_gk4 , but i have a problem.

To get more of the article showing on my home page and to have the nice paragraph spaces, i have disabled Clean (X)HTML

Now this works great to show more article but the problem i do have is, the images look terrible as you can see on the home page in the middle column. I would like to find a way where the image look better and do not have part of the image vanish

can anyone please help in sorting these images out so they look better

What i need is to have the writing looking the way it did, with the paragraphs showing but the pictures looking normal,
