Tired of making changes after upgrating to Joomla 2.5

I had to upgrade my site from Joomla 1.7 to 2.5 First of all I had to pay again for the same template. OK I did it, but thought that after all everything will go very easily. After one day of making changes in php and css files, my site still looks totally different.

I am so tired of updating files instead of going forward with the project :/

Can anybody tell me which files can I simply override or what else Can I do to bring look of my site back in shortest way?

Hi, Almost all of our templates have overwrite option which can be used to use overwrite.css.
In this way you could use the "old" style file. But take into consideration that our Gavern framework since Joomla 1.7 also has been updated.
