Front & backend template width issue regarding mainNSP

Just starting on a new idea using The News II template on the Gavern Framework.

I have installed and had immediate issue, this was related to the K2 2.6 issue currently highlighted on there forum with the issue as follows for those interested:

I initially thought this issue was the cause of the inaccurate width of the 'mainNSP' module on the front page.

I later discovered this was not the cause, I re-installed a complete fresh install and database of The News II template without running the K2 2.6 update and without any adjustments I am still seeing the 'mainNSP' module on the front page appearing at 33% width?

This should be at 53% I believe, so I went to my admin area for the template:

Extensions > Template Manager > gk_twn2 - Default > Layout (tab)

Once here I can normally adjust specific positions widths, however on both installs I had the following issue arise?

Looks like the current download of 'The News II' is missing part of the Quick start Package?

As you can see in the screen shot above, I have multiple Icons, Multiple Percentage (%) symbols as well and it's missing the section to control the width of the position blocks? (You can just see the heading form them but no controls.

I can not explain the issue, Any ideas?

As I mentioned above, I have already tried a clean install with the Quick start package downloaded earlier today, also tried completely removing both the files and database and a second fresh install of the quick start package so looks to be n issue with the actual package files.

Have I missed something?

First issue comes exclusively from K2 component.
It seams there's a lot of users reporting this problem on K2 support forum.

The second issue on template parameters, probably there's some file missing.
I made a test with the last quickstart package and works perfectly... so it's from your side.

Recommend that you download again the quickstart package and try again.

thanks for the update, I will re-download over the coming week and re-try.

For the moment I reverted to using a slightly older download of the Quick start framework and updated via the CP instead.

All working perfectly now.
