On your instructions http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joomla-extensions/extensions-for-joomla-1-6/gk-cahce-plugin/ you have wo plugins and on qs to this template is only one - no GK External Cache.
Does it matter that it is on my site?
Is there any way to exclude some component's from that cache like on JOT cache?

Hi,

In the older templates there was a one plugin for the cache, but please check the template rest files directory - there should be more cache plugins described in the mentioned article. Please install all the plugins if you have proper options described in the article in your template settings.

Unfotunately there is no way to exclude specific components from this cache.

How long does it take to refresh mod_news_pro_gk4 modules?
I can't find caching options on it.

The News Show Pro module has the cache only for the images, the other content is cached using the standard cache engine so it will be refreshed with the rest part of the site.
