Suffix not working - space included

I have went thru all the forums and tried all the solutions. i have used joomla for a while so i know the space is needed. One of the modules - stay connected uses the " color" suffix when i take it out and save it does NOT remove the color in the module.
- added space " color" but still not working
- saved typography plugin still not working
- tried every single class that is on the variations page none of them work all with spaces in front
- checked multiple browsers no changes
-reuploaded the template no changes

using joomla 2.5 world news II installed with quickstart already cahnged and added info cant do fresh install but did re upload the template to override and still nothing.

I am not sure what else to do my site is low key so would have to pm the url if needed.
