Table hover background - how to remove?

Hi

I have added a new module to the template and inserted a table with two images above the logo.

However the table background goes grey when hover over, how do i turn this off?

Actually the best way for me would be to have four collapsible modules in this position, however i have no idea how to achieve this, it's beyond my php skills.(as it is now)

I can achieve the effect i want with divs but i need to make it as easy as possible for the user to change the images and links and using the WYSIWYG editor will strip out a lot of the code required

I have looked everywhere to find the css thats doing this background hover grey colour but can't find it, can anyone help??
