Hi there,

I trying to modify k2 module in order to show on selected article/category based on it's category.
It' worked perfectly on quickstart articles from gavick but it looks bad on articles/categories that I created.
the breadcrumbs and some modules on right_top position didn't appear (K2 module) and it worked different on module from joomla (main menu module).
I'd appreciate any comments and reviews.

thanks

Hi

Can You please show some examples ? Do You mean You have created a new template for K2 or just a K2 module. If it's the first option than please check if template is selected properly and if category is not inheriting any data from other categories.

Hi teitbite,
No, it's just K2 module.

Hi

This looks like landing pages for articles are missing. Please take a look at this post to check if this is not a problem https://www.gavick.com/documentation/ge ... s-working/

Hi teitbite,

I found the solution.
When using K2 we can't use the Joomla core breadcrumbs.
You have to use the K2 tools module and change the module to breadcrumbs mode. It then works as breadcrumbs should work. So this means the entire web site must be in K2.

last... the right module still missing in article page :(

Hi,

I think that I found something to fix right module not showing on every article.

I am using sh404sef and I think it was the problem.
The problem is the duplicating aliases.

To solve it. I searched for the page in the sh404sef where the right module not showing, it's URL manager and change the main alias (star icon) by clicking the number under the Duplicates column for each item in the search results.

I think it's a solution for this time.
Thanks!

Hi

Yes this can be a solution if a link was created without menu item id. Thanks for shearing the fix with us.
