The Pages settings section contains settings associated with theme pages’ parameters and the Contact Page.
- Display details on pages – it allows you to enable/disable the display of the page information block for each page content item.
- Display Author Info on pages – it allows you to enable/disable the display of the author information block for each page content item.
- Display comments on pages – it allows you to enable/disable the display of the comments block for each page content item.
- Display sidebar information on the attachment page – you can disable showing the sidebar with additional information on the attachment page.
The second section provides a field for the website e-mail used in the Contact page and simple settings for a reCAPTCHA service. The general purpose of CAPTCHA was to prevent (reduce number of) form submissions (or comments added) by spambots, which are automated scripts that post spam content everywhere they can.
reCAPTCHA is probably the most popular and widely accepted CAPTCHA systems by both end-users and site-owners. Now you can use it inside a WordPress Contact Form for free.
Because reCAPTCHA is a Google service, in order to use it you have to create a new Google Account or sign in with an existing Google Account.
