As announced, a few days ago one of the largest domain and hosting companies in Poland, Joomla! is the most frequently used (over 43%) content management systems. At the incredible popularity was (and still is) the impact of a number of reasons.
- First of all, not just CMS is free, also full professional translation to it.
- On the market, there are 17 books about this CMS available in Polish, in comparison with books about Drupal, on our market there are just two.
- More than 10 courses on DVD.
- Several popular information web pages, including a strong focus on community forum.joomla.pl (All members: 33 991, Active members: 3 150).
- Numerous publications in the trade press since last 4 years (Linux Magazine, IT Administration, Computer World, etc.).
- Few or several companies in Poland, run Joomla! courses.
- From what I know, some informatics teachers in secondary schools teach the basics of using Joomla!
