Because of recent updates to both Woocommerce and BuddyPress, we have released an update to all of our themes that use the aforementioned plugins.
In particular, the WooCommerce update could potentially cause some unexpected behavior in our themes, so we aimed to update the affected themes as soon as possible.
the following issues have been fixed:
- improvements connected with WooCommerce update,
- fixed problem for the non-displaying SEO metatags on pages,
- fixed issue with GK NSP images in Child themes,
- fixed problem with homepage description title,
- fixed issue with setting import/export function,
- changed icons in backend template options,
- added small improvement to Open Graph function,
and other more minor issues connected directly with each theme.
After BuddyPress was updated to version 1.9.2 we noticed that there was a small bug in unclosed metatags at the top of BuddyPress pages – this was fixed via the aforementioned improvement of the OpenGraph function.
The update of WooCommerce 2.1 was even worse! First of all, the option to disable the default WooCommerce CSS style was removed from the backend, so after completing the update the themes based on WooCommerce looked very poor; we’ve had to add a filter to disable the default styles.
There was also a problem with WooCommerce widgets – some widgets were renamed, some others merged into one widget (Best sellers, featured, onsale, random and recent products are now one widget), so if you are using the aforementioned widgets you will unfortunately have to configure them again.
Template files have also been updated; we’ve made some modifications in the specific template files listed in the changelog.
There are also other small issues in this update, so the WooCommerce developers had to release two hotfix releases consecutively in a short period of time; WooCommerce 2.1.1 and 2.1.2. After updating WooCommerce with these hotfixes and updating our themes with the latest files, you may use WooCommerce once more without any issues.
Updated themes with changelogs and a full list of improvements can be found here, please remember to backup before running any updates, just in case.
