How to use the Plus symbol '+' in K2 item titles

Hi I'm using Game Magazine with Joomla 2.5

Each time I try and type the plus symbol '+' into a K2 Item title, although it appears correctly in the back end, it is shown as a plus/minus symbol '+-' in the front end.

I've attached a screen grab showing the K2 Item title. It should read 3x8+1 (with a plus + between the 8 and the 1)

Is there any way round this? I have tried including the html code but that does not seem to work. It works fine in the main body of the K2 item.

That comes from BebasNeue Squirrel font.
It seams that doesn't support this character.
Solution:
You might need to change to different one on template parameters > fonts, because if this font kit doesn't have this character, there's nothing we can do about it.
