Joomla 2.5 website displays Mobile Layout on desktop

I have been fighting this for a couple of days now, my Home page is displaying the homepage of the Mobile template on computers instead of the default.

edit: forgot to mention for some reason if a delete the cache it will be normal for about a day, then switches back to the mobile template.

Did you set "default" on template parameters > Basic settings > Default layout ?

yes have done that, once I have cleaned the cache in joomla seems to be working fine now.

Just upgrade your template and cache plugin to the latest versions, I think this issue will be fixed. The bug is that, when cache data expires and right after that someone visits your site using a mobile phone, it will cache that mobile layout and show for later visitors, it doesn't understand that layout is for mobile only.
