I am a very new user to Joomla, so this might just be a really simple question:

"How do you change the logo in the Corporate 2 template to my own logo?"

I tried changing it via FTP, the permissions of the files won't let me.

Am I missing the obvious?

Thank you.

Hi

You have 3 option on logo display on Gavern framework (with joomla!2.5)
- css logo
- Image logo
- Text logo

css logo is set by css files, so you just need to replace the template logo that you find on template images directory.
Image logo allows you to select a image of your own (i.e.) from joomla images directory.
Text logo is used only with text and slogan.

You can set which one on corporate2 template parameters.

If you select css logo, replace also the logo inside each style folders.

Cheers ;)

Thank you for your reply.

This is what I did and it works:

In the template manager, I selected the Corporate 2 template.

This brings up several menus (options) on the right-hand side.

Scroll down to 'features', and click on it. This will make the options 'fly-out' and from there you can select your own logo. (Of course, you will need to upload it to the correct directory, first, but once it is uploaded it is simple to select.)

Once the logo is selected, save the settings and reload your page of the 'live site'. You should now be able to see your logo in place of the 'stock' logo.
