Problem with Internet Explorer 8

my page is mymestyle.mymestyle.com
i checked it with internet explorer 8 but it has a lot of problems.
it dont show photoslide and the tabsslide manageer on frontpage.
there is always error and it dont load all the other modules like poll etc.
if you compare and load the page with firefox and after that with IE8 you will see what i mean...

is there anything that we can do or is that a problem that cant be solved?

Your problem is a common JS conflict. As You can see all Gavick features works on mootools framework. Using another JS framework on the same page may cause conflicts.

Solution is to use only modules run by the same framework or to use a non conflict plugin. But I cannot advise You none. Please search the web.

I must use current component, because it is the core of my business.
So I need to find a solution, because all Explorer users are cut off right now.

I already use one, that is included in the component.

what is actually a non-conflict plugin? where can i find it. i want to use it for my page because sometimes it works on explorer but sometimes it doesnt.

It means that you have some 3th party extensions that is in conflict with other from this template.
Try to disable the VM Product Slide Show and check if you still have this problem on ie.

yes it is still the same problem even if i disalbe it.

hey guys, i just found out where the problem is.
it is the facebook module.

mymestyle.mymestyle.com is my webpage.

i tried to solve that problem by using another facebook module. but i think that is general problem. still same problem even if i use any other module for facebook.
i also tried to do a custom html module and add the facebook fan box manually but it only shows the link and not the full box. do you have any idea to get slideshow and the fanbox from facebook running?

someone got idea?
