Setting The World News II template

hi, i'm ari...
is there step by step guide to setup The World News II template... i'd like to change my old joomla template to the world news II template like as at demo page.. i'd already install the quick start installation.
For K2 component, what does it use for? i see at sample page, it needs to make a new news category... does it must use at world news template?

please help me ...

Hi

K2 is replacing regular joomla articles and adding a new features to it. But you do not need to use it. There is instruction other than QuickStart itself. So to copy settings please use a QuickStart and move intent there or try copy all settings looking at the QuickStart which is installed in a different location.
