Hi Guys,

This is a really strange one, in Quay, there is an issue that when I position any module to right_one it works, but when I change it to only appear on certain areas of the site it won't display at all. It's all or nothing!

Anyone ever come across this?

UPDATE:
I've been playing around wth the template option "Template skeleton", it makes no difference what setting I choose, none will make the module appear.

that's been reset, try again.

The only thing I can think of is that the site is now running j 1.21 which was not the quick install version.

let me know what you think

Hi

That's a SEF problem. When I disable SEO settings to NO than moduls are shown as attached. Are You using some additional SEF extension or just the standard from our template (joomla) ?

out of the box Joomla, nothing new at all. Not even a mod to the htaccess file.

Is there a way around this?

By the way, well done, I thought I'd tried everything.

My client is not happy that they cannot have SEO friendly urls.

Do you have any plans to fix this template?

Hi Teitbite,

I think the problem is due to the upgrade to joomla 1.5.22, I don't think the template is compatible. you can still log in with the details I've pm'd. This is the basic install details...

Code: Select all
[size=85]PHP Built on:    Linux pemlinweb34.blacknight.com 2.6.18-028stab067.4-ent #1 SMP Thu Jan 14 22:32:05 MSK 2010 i686

Database Collation:    utf8_general_ci
PHP Version:    5.2.9
Web Server:    Apache/2.2.11 (Unix)
Web Server to PHP interface:    cgi-fcgi
Joomla! Version:    Joomla! 1.5.22 Stable [ senu takaa ama woi ] 04-November-2010 18:00 GMT

what do you think, what version is your test?

I've also tried other sef components but still have missing mods. I've installed Quay a few times afresh too.

Hi

Unfortunately the programmer said:

Code: Select all
Problem will be solved when the template will be recoded to T3 framework.

Hi

I'm pretty sure my boss told me that while ago that Quay is already being recoded to T3, so I believe that it's just a matter of time when it'll gonna be relised.

The details that I pm'd you with still work, take a look around nothing has changed at all.

When I first installed it I did notice that unpublishing the breadcrumb (I think) also unpublished other elements on the same line, at the time I thought nothing of it but now I'm wondering what modules you have published and if unpublishing one with unpublish another.
