I added the new 1.6 kunena forum and there was an issue with the top menu not showing. I enable mootools update plugin with no result.
I then disabled plugin and deleted forum now the whole site has disapppeared.

I tried a few other gavick templates, sporter, partyfreak and gamebox with the same result, no site.

Any idea what the conflict is?

I have seen some conflicts with kunena with different results but not a total white page of death.

My site is running
Joomla! 1.5.21
kunena 1.6 stable
mootools upgrade plugin disabled

thanks in advance for any help

If your page has dissapeared then it seems that you've got some PHP error and it isn't show due settings in php.ini file. Please try to add in template index.php file at start lines:

Code: Select all
ini_set('display_errors','yes');
ini_set('error_reporting',E_ALL);

have added code above and got this error message

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/junkmail/public_html/templates/gk_quay/html/mod_mainmenu/default.php on line 86

Fatal error: Call to a member function name() on a non-object in /home/junkmail/public_html/templates/gk_quay/html/mod_mainmenu/default.php on line 86

Seeing the error i see there was a menu kunena has installed.
i disabled it and all other menus without any change to the error message.

Hi

Did You make anything to the mainmenu module ? It looks diffrent from the one I have with my Quay installation. Or maby it was changed in latest joomla ;/ I really do not know but removing template style for menu made it working again.

no changes to menu
added latest update from joomla but i had the same problem when i was installling QUAY the first time i installed it.....but that was with a release candidate of 1.6 forum and as I had seen a few people using kunena without issue I assumed the prblem was fixed.

Looks like I have to re=install quay fresh

thanks for trying
