GKNews and GKCategories don't show new categories

I have a quickstart from The world news installed, but GKNews and GKCategories don't show new created categories from new created sections..

some idea or help?

I'm not sure, but if i remember you need to select minimum 2 categories, otherwise modul will show nothing.

I have 5 categories with a lot of articles...
in gknews you have tu select sections, not categories
and the modul doesn't show sections i created

Sorry I've just found Your mail in spam. I've been to Your site and createa a new section and there were no problems with showing it at the selecion area.



If You are talking that You do not see changes on the site after choosing it than it probably will be a cache problem. Try to make changes, clear the cache and see than.

thats not the trouble
the problem is with showing in the GKmodule at the frontpage... you can't show the new created section.
i think it is not cache thing, then i have the same problem in my local version

I've checked it one more time and it's strictly connected with cache. When I cleared it the new categories did appeared at the site.

test it please with the section noticias, with 4 categories and 9 articles...

gkCategories in banner3 position... nothing to see at the frontpage
gkNews in mainbody position... nothing to see at the frontpage
cache is empty

Now I can see this. It's working like it self want to ;/ Even showing more categories as selected ;/
