Hi,

I am looking to create a multilingual website (French and English) using the Creativity template (https://www.gavick.com/joomla-templates/creativity,127). I have gone through all the steps to set up the language switcher which seems to work smoothly. Problem is that the backend of this joomla template does not seem to allow a multi-lingual website. I require 4 different menus (English and French for Creativity subpages and English and French for Creativity frontpage, see Template Manager in Joomla). Does anybody know how to configure the template manager?

Thank you!

Regards,
Tobias

Hi

In template settings You can select which menu to use. Please simply create 3 copies of template style and attach them a different language along with a menu for this language.

Hi, I understand that I can install Quark template in different languages, but my question is if can that template manage 2 languajes at the same time. English + spanish.

How should I install those languajes?
How will a visitor select between one and other?
Could anyone send me an example of this working?

thank you for your support.

Hi

There are couple ways to do this. Here is an explanation of the joomla native one: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... joomla-1-7

But I've found it much easier to use a Falang component to make all the translations.
