How to add image on empty space

Hi Guys,

How can I add image ( random image/banners) on the empty space of the article on the link below.

http://misslistings.com/index.php/compo ... -ibiza-uae

its the article under NEWS in the home page.

Hope you can help me...the empty space does not look good.

you mean on right side ? Next to main image?
I think the best option for you and website reader would be use sidebar module position,
and there publish there some modules like:
Latest news, popular news, last commented etc. like others websites do.
You have so many option, then, empty space will disappear.

I did used the SIDEBAR but for some reason it is not appearing on the articles that uses a module like NSP. not sure why.

is there a fix to the problem?

You can use:
Advanced Module Manager , EXP Module Positions or MetaMod -> to get more control where module should appear .

Or
you can add this category into hidden menu and then assign to them module(s).

Always there is a way, this is not WP to use stupid hacks.
