Urgent: Need Solution to Date Published Flaw

This is a deal-breaker and needs solving. I purchased The News II, installed the Quickstart for Joomla 1.7. Joomla articles do not display the date published, only the string "Date Published." (Here is the URL to an example page: http://ithacaindy.org/africa/52-once-eg ... -long-fall

Now, Joomla articles will display the date created and the date update, but not date published. I've switched to other templates to test and the date published is correctly displayed with those templates. Also, K2 items correctly display the date published. The problem, therefore rests with The News II template.

I solved my own question: the language\en-GB\en-GB.com_content.ini was missing the "%s" from the COM_CONTENT_PUBLISHED_DATE="Published Date" entry.
