"read more" of joomla article not working, "Read more" opens the same main webpage.

Hello,

It is caused by fact that you have a wrong menu structure which doesn't contains your Joomla! categories, and most probably you have a module published on the mainbody module position. It causes that categories without menu items leads to the frontpage where module on the mainbody replaces the component content.
