Links don't work in the text?

I try to add links to the text but they won't work. When I go to the news item they work, but not on the front page.

I'm not talking about the Read more link, because that works. But not other links that I add myself.

How do I fix this?

If you mean links in item content or article content then they are removed when xhtml clean function kicks in.
