Adding separator in between articles

Hi there,

I am new to Joomla and still learning it. Recently found out this useful extension.
I have set up 4 articles to be showed in my front page horizontally. The problem is between the articles there is no separator to separate the first article with another article. Could somebody please let me know how to do add separator?
