Read more is not available in this template?

Hello to everybody!
Do I understand it right that "Read more" button is not planned for this template whatsoever? No matter what I do, can't make it come up...
If so, how could I make it up?

gk_technews\html\com_content\article\default.php

of course you can replace this code with default from original file

Could you please reply a guid to do this directly in the file?

This realy does not help me very much, i compared the lines with the univercity template, where the readmore link i visible.
But i could se no difference in the lines.

I thought about default core template.
But if code is this same as you said in GK university - did you checked on this template read more?

Have checked the beez5 template, and in the default file is there no "show_readmore"
so no code, how can i find this code, so i can get the read more button in the template?????
