Looking at https://demo.gavick.com/joomla3/technews/ there are the main images that give the zoom-in functionality when hovered over. My questions is if you can add a URL as a link when clicking on an image?

I do not want it to go to an article item. Is this possible?

This "demo" page uses additional styles not available in template itself.

I do not understand you answer I'm afraid.

Do you mean that some functionality seen in the demo can not be achieved using the temaplate?

If yes, my simple question is if I can link a URL to that "sliding" image?

What I am trying to achieve is that when a visitor comes to the site he/she should then easily be able to "jump" to a sub domain of mine by simply seleting an image.

Please let me know if you need more description in order to answer this question,.

This particular site is created only for demo purpose and is not available in quickstart. It is used to demonstrate different layouts and allows to switch those layouts. Final page is what you see after you select one of those 4 layouts.

Ah, now I understand ... but this is OK, What I mean is that when you have chosen 1 of the 4 layouts and come to the chosen layout ... can the sliding images then be linked with a URL?

Please mark those "sliding images" on a screenshot.
