We're curious if it's possible to tell the fixed navigation menu to appear as soon as someone starts to scroll down, rather than it only appearing once a person has scrolled down and then starts to scroll back up again.

Thanks!

Hello,

I did what the thread said and edited the file just as instructed. But nothing has changed for the fixed menu navigation. Can you please check it and give some direction? Do I need to edit it in the child theme files instead?

Thank you!

Hi,

Sure - if you are using a child theme, please add your modifications only to a child files.

So I made sure to add to the Child Theme and it's working beautifully.
But I realize that now it's always showing the fixed menu. Is there a way to tell it to use the menu it was using before (where it shows the larger logo in the upper left) and that the fixed navigation appears as soon as you start to scroll down?
Before the fixed nav appeared once someone had scrolled down and THEN scrolled back up again. Can we have it do the same but as soon as someone starts to scroll down?

Thank you!

Sorry, but it requires much more modifications. I can't help you with that.
