Hello!

I seem to have a problem with widget exception rules for my blog posts page.

Basically I would like to place an item into the sidebar only on the blog posts page. I have tried using page id etc. but it does not work or it shows up on all pages.

What is the correct rule to use?

Hello,

You should select "Post" and click "add page" to add all posts.

I am afraid that does not work, since I am using the default page template for not only the posts page but other static pages. So the widget shows up on all pages.

Unless I am supposed to use frontpage template for everything else except for the posts page?

Template page is a "page", you want to display the widget on your posts, so it doesn't affect pages. I'll check the issue on your website, but I need the URL.

This page which you've send (IMAGE OF CLOCKS ..) me has id = 165, so you can use widget rules with this page id - it doesn't have influency on posts, because it's a page.

Hi Piotr,
I think I have solved this differently, I should have realised it earlier.

The blog posts page seems to be a category page (initially set up by client). So using the category ID seems to have done the job for now. If I have any further problems I shall come back to you.

Thanks very much for now!
