How to hide mainmenu on Multilingual site?

Hi!
I'd like to use writer template for a multilinguage site and I've a problem with mainmenu.
Obviously I have to use two different menus (italian-menu and english-menu) in "menu_top" module position... but how can I hide mainmenu?

In the template setting --> menu --> I choose to disable "show template menu" but mainmenu does not disappear...

So, how can I do ?

Try something easier. Make a separate style for each language and than attach a different menu for different template style.
