GK Reservation - emails not being sent

Hi
When I use the GK reservation plugin, everything APPEARS ok but no email is sent.
I have deleted and reinstalled the plugin (V.1.0.2 ) and nothing changed. I also updated WordPress to 4.6.1.

I then downloaded another plugin (Restaurant Reservations by Theme of the Crop) and while the booking arrived into the "bookings' dashboard , again no emails were sent. I tried this both with he GH reservation plugin activated and deactivated.

I then installed this new plugin to a different WordPress site site and everything words fine.
Can you give me any help here please. I have no preference which plugin I use.

Hi,
It looks like a problem with wp_mail() function on your server. GK Reservation plugin uses this function for sending emails:

For this function to work, the settings SMTP and smtp_port (default: 25) need to be set in your php.ini file.
Please ask your hosting provider to fix the issue.
