Add to the main menu option "Search"

I have installed joomla 3.4, with the "Steak House" template. My URL is:

http://www.unicadem.com

I would like to add to the main menu option "Search" to search within the website. How can you put? Is the image of a magnifying glass may appear?

the easy way -> add search module as a submenu item
The hard way -> you have to create a new module position , near menu and publish there

3rd : Use SlideBar module (!not Gavick!) and inside publish/assign search module. In some cases it would be nice looking option. Below is only example how it may works .

Module attempt to put the "search" in the main menu, but does not appear. Can you put in the main menu or left right ?. Appreciate detail in the explanation. Thank you very much for his trouble.
