Getting Rid of Comments

How do I get rid on comments on the bottom of the page? I don't have comments checked in my screen options but yet they still show. By the way this theme rocks!!!

Remember that if you had some comments before you unchcecked this option - new comments will be closed, but existing comments will be still visible.

If you want to remove also these comments, please edit Events/single.php file and remove or comment out this line:

<?php comments_template(); ?>


This method removes comments on all your posts/pages.

I went into the FTP section and removed the line that you suggested. I still see Leave a Reply and Post comment on page http://producersswapmeet.com/events/thu ... -timeline/

I thought that it was a default page, in this case you have to remove this line from Events/template.event.php file.
