STOREFRONT SLIDESHOW IMAGE

Hi!

We need help - about slideshow picture, it's not responsive when changing different browsers or different screen sizes. We've made changes as instructed (code for css), but nothing happened. What can we do?

1. Please post in template specific subforums.
2. Do not bump (repeat to your own posts) your threads - we are trying to answer each thread within 24-48h and each time you bump the thread it goes to the bottom of our queue and you wait longer.

And now going back to the topic...
What kind of adviced changes have you made?

We used the code from the post https://www.gavick.com/forums/storefron ... ping-37519 as we are also having the problem with the slideshow images. We've added the code to override.css, but there's no change, images are still getting cropped and slideshow is not responsive.

Have you enabled use of override.css file in template settings?

Thank you, the option was not enabled in both language versions, resizing is working now. We just have to figure out what would be the best image size for this method so that it shows properly everywhere. Do you have a suggestion what width and length slideshow image should have?

If your site has a max width limit (in big screens it shows in middle column) you should check what is max width - and use it. But it will make the images load longer on mobile devices, so you should take to consider what kind of visitors do you have. Google analytics might be helpful in determine that.
