Using gk_storefront with virtuemart

Hello

I want to use your theme gk_storefront with an virtuemart existing shop. I see that in the online demo you use it with joomla but in the download files there is only hikashop. I need the override files for virtuemart.

Hi

VM only has a version for joomla 2.5 for now. This is why with joomla 3.3 we have used Hikashop. You can find both version in storefront download area.

Do you think that's possible to install VM2.6 or 2.9 and use it with the storefront Joomla 3.3 ?

Hi

I know people does that, but since VM isn't sure enought to call it a stable official release than we cannot guarantee it will work correctly with overrides and styling created for joomla 2.5. I would advice to use a different e-commerce solution which our templates support in J3: k2store, hikashop.
