I was wondering if it possible to speed up the loading time of this template. When i ping my website all seems fine, but still loading this template remains slow.

Are there some tweaks/caching/etc i can use?

Your server requires 5 seconds to send first byte of html code (response). It doesn't have anything to do with ping. Please check if same happens with default Beeze/Protostar.
