module news show pro gh5 and shop and buy template

i am using shop and buy template for joomla 2.5
So i installed gk_shopandbuy_quickstart_J!25 in my localhost successfully.

I have problem with your module news show pro gh5 or maybe i don't understand how it works.

i am using all default settings from gk_shopandbuy_quickstart_J!25.

But i try to edit module news show pro gh5 (extension-module manager).
I have problems with setting up amount of rows and amount of columns.

When i click save it doesn't save what i want to. (using Product Gallery II)
For example i want to have 3 columns for products in home page (by default is 4) and in Product Gallery II in field "amount of columns" i enter 3 and save, and nothing happen. I still have 4 columns. The same situation is with rows.

Also when adding new products in virtue mart, for example in manufacture it doesn't show in home page.
It only show if i clicked category and then listed all products from that category.

So i have two questions:
1. How to force news show pro gh5 to list amount of rows and amount of columns which i set? (for example 3 columns instead 4)
2. How when adding new products in virtue mart to show on my home page? So that visitors can see latest added products.

I update to latest news module but i still have problem.

Every product that i add in virtue mart, it doesn't show on home page (fronted)

Does need something more to configure?

It seems to work now.
I create new module and after that everything seems ok.
Now when i add new products in virtue mart it show on home page (fronted).

Did you use multilanguage store? Are you sure that all products that you want to display are assign to the active front-end language?

No, store is just on english. Yes all products are 100% active.
When i make new module, after that everything work ok.

I don't know what may cause this problem, maybe it is cache issue?

I have one more question if you could help me.

Where in shop and buy template for joomla 2.5 in backhand i can modify category view.

I mean on this:

Where can i change sorting filter in this template (in joomla 2.5 backhand)?
For example when click on category men to sort by latest product which i add.

This is VirtueMart category view so probably all layout options you will find in menu item settings.
