Hi,

Since yesterday I'm building a new website (creativity template) using the quickstart files with joomla 2.5.
I switched back to 2.5 because with 3.0 I had the common beginner errors (e1064 when empty categories, timesetting faults, frontpage message when deleted but not unpublished).

Everything is going well except that I cannot link nsp gk5 to my k2 categories.

I have created a k2 category named "whatwedo"
In this category I have 7 k2 articles (with pictures).
I would like to show these articles as portal mode news gallery or as portfolio.
However my NSP GK5 is empty and doesn't fetch the articles.

If I select "all k2 articles" nothing happens. Same if I select "k2 categories" and even if I select "all joomla articles". Moreover, I can't change the settings.

I guess something went wrong during install (permissions? mysql?) but I can't find the cause of this problem.
Does anybody have an idea where to start?

Today I tried to install NSP gk4, and everything works fine.
I guess there must be something wrong in my gk5 setup.
Should I try to reinstall gk5?

Hi,

Yes, please try to reinstall your NSP GK5 module - most probably some files are corrupted.

Hi,

I did remove all GK5 modules, redownloaded the latest version from the website and reinstalled it.
However, I still get thsi message "Error: No articles to display".
Hmmm I'm stuck because I don't know where to start.

It seems that you have forgot to resave the module configuration - I've made it and now it displays articles.

That's amazing! (and a little stupid from me I guess).
Thank you very much!

It seems I can't save nor load configs through the nsp interface. It keeps to lock (check in/out lock).
Maybe I should change the json files manually? Or do I have to change some kind of permission?

Found the problem:
I'm unable to save nor load with firefox v23.0.1 on mac with osx10.8.4
However, with safari v6.0.5 the module is working fine!

Thank you dziudek for the great support!
