Remove comments From Posts

Hi

How do you remove the comments box from the post pages?
I have tried disabling the comments in the 'post additional params' sidebar and I have tried disabling “Post sidebar/additional information” in the template options.
But the comments box is still at the bottom of the post page?

These option from "post additional params' are for the comments counter next to post title, if you want to remove comments box, please edit your post, click "screen options" in the top right corner and select "Discussion"
Now, under your post content you'll find "Discussion" metabox and here you can uncheck "Allow comments." option for this post. (the global option for all NEW posts may be found in Settings -> Discussion)
