The insertion of a logo into the backend cusomization of the Shop and Buy template only works on a hit-or-miss basis, i.e., sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Right now, it refuses to work at all. Why is this

Hi,

Do you mean "Login Page Logo" option from backend branding tab? I have checked and seems to be ok, could you provide an url to your website? (here or via PM).

Thanks for your replies. The Logo is Login Page Logo in the Backend Branding settings for our site. This is the logo on the Home Page of our site. We have it on our localhost so it is not publicly available. I have tried every trick I can think of to get this to work again but it refuses I am a programmer myself with 20 years of experience so I think this is quite odd.. I inserted a logo file of about 200 pixels x 228 pixels and then removed it after which time I was no longer able to insert another photo (although I could upload the picture into the program itself but it never displayed on my website). Any Ideas?

Cyberek,
I have placed the site online for you at: http://mobilotek.com/wp-admin/

I am unable to change the Logo picture on the Home/Main page when I want to. It is very hit-or-miss if the picture can be changed. This does not sound normal.

Hi,

@designedgadgets it's not secure to post your login and pw on public forum (I'll remove it), you should send it via PM. The Login Page logo i'ts not a logo on the homepage - it's backend logo under this url: http://mobilotek.com/wp-admin/ If you want to change logo from your front end (homepage etc.) use Theme branding tab and Theme logo type option.

Also your homepage returns Internal Server Error, please check that, then send me login data with pm.

@designedgadgets I checked both options (The Login Page logo and logo from the homepage) and seems to be ok, I switched your images:
http://mobilotek.com/
http://mobilotek.com/wp-admin

Regarding the failure to load the online version of the site: If you simply ignore the error message and RELOAD THE PAGE, the site will load. Also, regarding security -- as we do everything on a localhost version of the site, we are not worried about the login being known at this point, but thanks for removing it anyway. Please let me know if you can figure out why the Logo insertion is problematic with this template as we have the same problem getting it to change on our localhost version. Thanks

Could you tell me exactly why the Logo insertion is problematic? I already changed your logo on http://mobilotek.com/ and don't have any problems with that. I need more details which browser version and OS are you using, and when exactly you have issuess with that? are you uploading new file or choose images from Media Library?

I am using the latest version of Firefox on Windows 7 Professional with Service Pack 1. There must be some compatibility issue browser I could not change the logo on either our localhrost version or the live version on the public Internet. I am using WordPress 3.8.
I tried using Chrome and it does not work either. One interesting note is that the logo on the site security login screen does display the updated logo but NOT the homepage of the site!

I have checked your live website on Windows 7 and Firefox and logo is displayed properly, please check attachments. Trust me it's basic feature, so when this kind of feature doesn't work, our users report it. For now you are the first with this problem.

Thanks for help! It was an oversight that I mistakenly believed that the logo was changed in the Backend Branding section. I do appreciate your correction.
