How can I set the Virtuemart Terms of Service checkbox to be already selected when the Shopping Cart page is loaded? I was looking at templates/gk_storebox/html/com_virtuemart/cart/default.php and the relevant code appears to be line 156:

This checkbox is generated by vm code not our template - please ask on vm forum - they will give you best possible solution.
